We had many ideas of our short film. One idea was to have:
The black protagonist awakes in a messy room surrounded by posters of gangsters and criminal figures such as tupac, g unit and Scarface. The floor is covered in clothing and food packaging. Also in the room may be props such as a small TV and a play station three/two which suggests poverty or only bed and alarm. Buzzer rings for a long time which awakes him, he receives delivery. Looks around when holding (exchanging) box. White delivery man blinks and goes back into ups van. He goes back inside leaves box and goes to fridge. Takes relentless drink silently drinks.

Or he is awaken by alarm , goes to kitchen drinks relentless then looks at watch many times awaiting delivery . box comes . he goes out running . empty streets. Sirens . suspicious actions . gloves on , tying shoe laces. Then unzips jumper.
Alternately goes out running in air forces, suspicious actions gloves, shoe laces. Sirens . meets friend on street who gives him box suspiciously blinking on e road alleyway Victoria . then it goes down from eyes to mouth smiling to unzipping slowly downwards same time (2012) then to new trainers. Then he comes towards camera blackness , blackness –his back running away from camera. Lastly a shot of his old trainers in the bin sun is shining then screen goes white.
Comes out of house , earphones are heard recorded then they go in soundtrack is played our garage band. Police van chases him thinking he just did a robbery – camera shot from inside police van. Side window and from centre of car boy running straight. Then another shot from in front of boy running police behind. Can’t hear because of music. Chase him until Ladbroke grove path lights camera goes past , trainers , then police stop right in front of pathway . Then finally they stop in front of him he sees them and takes of earphones ... music still heard quietly coming out of earphones for real . police man stops to search him ... opens jumper says 2012 GB team. Police officer says “sorry mate” and lets him go. Says to police pals “England’s coming home with gold this time”. Boy continues to run smiling (no earphones).
Looks around when comes out of house door.
Broken wall shot in his bed room going to kitchen. Housing.
(e.g. a cold takeaway from last night -he is a runner?).
The clothes reinforce the stereotype that teenagers are unorganised
Shoe box , trainers inside . at the end flash back of everything which really happened i.e. he ate egg from fridge.
Ups man gives him box blinks at him – no dialogue . this makes it look as if he is a connected drug dealer.

Women sleeping with him, lingerie on floor. Reinforces stereotypical views that teenagers are promiscuous.
USE SHOT RUN INTO BLACKNESS FRONT THEN FROM BLACKNESS BACK. RUNNING TOWARDS SUNRISE.

Suspicious actions – tying laces, putting on gloves, looking at houses. Looking at time. Starts stop watch like robbery.
Gets up unzips jumper 2012 shirt (climax) , smile with silver tooth.
