Having seen our previous year’s a2 short films, we have observed closely and came up with multiple ideas of what our short film will look like. We figured that as the riots and gang violence was very recent, we will make a short film about it. We came to a conclusion that the film will be about a group of males, robbing and bullying others, in which the last scene of the short film will contain a twist as one of the youth’s is bullied into this. This young male will have to look like a victim, and act like one too. In the last scene, the whole gang will be robbing two males, considerably aged 25-31, and the males turned out to be undercover police offers. However, looking deep into the idea we have created, we believed it will be very hard to come up with the shots and characters as we wanted the short film to be creative and realistic to gain as much marks as we can however without the cars, police officers and props, we believed it wouldn’t.
