More Ideas for Film

Having watched and captured the video footage from our video tape, we came up with even more ideas that we could film in our next filming journey. We thought that as we still had to do video footage of the protagonist leaving his house, we came up with even more shots which can represent him in a bad way, portraying him as a bad youth in the community. In addition, we thought of retaking some shots as the camera was shaking. hence when we retake the shots, we will use a tripod which will make the shot even better. finally, we came up with a shot in the location that will make the short film even more exciting and tense. it is basically a shot of the protagonist jumping a high obstacle.

  1. • Organise blog posts so they are chronological. (You must have your film analyses first of all, then posters & magazines, then your initial ideas & target audience and go from there). Please also embed films for each of your analyses. Your brand identity, target audience (inc questionnaire & interviews) and storyboard should all be before your production logo. Your Lovefield analysis needs to go to the beginning too. With your production logo, have the finished film post after all the drafts etc.

    • Please add some more details on the Misfits de-saturation effect, maybe including a video clip too?

    • You MUST have 3 analyses of film magazine reviews, focusing on use of conventions, style, layout etc. As well as another 3 analyses of short films (including one from previous students). Your analyses, although often a little short, are very good and you need to focus on including more of these. Your marks will go up if you finalise your analyses. I would also add one more analyses of a students’ poster, in place of the Rollin’ with the Nines one, as this is actually a DVD cover. You could add this, instead, as an inspiration, perhaps. YOU NEED TO SORT THESE OR ELSE YOU CANNOT ACHIEVE THE GRADES THAT YOU WANT FOR RESEARCH & PLANNING!!!

    • You post on resources should talk about why you need these resources and what you intend to use them for, not looking back and discussing how you used them.

    • Once completed, you should upload your script too, added just after the storyboard.

    • I would move your research & planning diary, so that it looks like you have added this as you are going along.

    • You also need to add in images of yourselves filming, with a short explanation.

    • You should now be at the stage where you can upload a rough cut of your film, get some feedback, and then upload the finished film.

    • Then you need to add in original images for your poster too, with explanations of what effect you are trying to achieve.
